Want To Buy New In-Ear Headphones. We Objectively Help You Decide Which Are Best Earphones In India Under ₹ 1000.

Best Wired Earphones Available In India Under 1000

Best wired earphones that you can buy in India Under ₹ 1000.

This is a list of the best wired earphones which you can buy for just ₹ 1000 in India.

Basically despite the budget constrains the earphones should obviously sound good and have a dynamic and Hi-Fi Sound profile. Depending on the requirements the earphones should also be equipped with a microphone to necessitate calling and 2 way conversations. Usually the earphones stop working due the breaking of wires either from the buds or from the connection jack, therefore a braided wire with decent reinforcement and points of stress is a welcome bonus and will aid in durability.

While choosing earphones we should also keep a look at the impedance rating. A low impedance rating make sure that earphones sound loud with portable devices such as mobile phones. On the other hand wired earphones with higher impedance ratings would require an amplifier to sound lush and fulfilling.

While the tight budget hinders our decision making, Buy.Guru headphones reviews help in choosing the best wired earphones in 1000 rupee price budget.

With an in-line mic you don’t need to worry about calls and the in-line control makes them easy to operate too. Available in Black Blue colors.

The 9mm driver puts our quality bass and you don’t feel it to be lacking at any time. Together with high sensitivity drivers and low impedance of the unit it is easy to get good volume levels with considerably less power. The passive noise cancelling obtained by the tight in-ear fit isolates you from bulk of the ambience noise. When compared with Sennheiser CX180 the most obvious advantage is the presence microphone. Sony MDR have got sound with good balance with lots of depth and plenty of dynamics. Overall a steal at the price offered and one of best earphones for tight budget of ₹ 1000 in India.

2. Realme Buds 2 Earphones for Android Smartphones

11.2 mm drivers, microphone

Realme Buds 2 are the successors to the Buds 1 which honestly failed to impress many. Realme Buds 2 have a partial braided cable which not only makes it sturdy but also gives it a premium look. These sport a combination of gloss and matte black which lends it a distinctive rich look, which is perhaps a bit surprising for this segment. Its handy to stick the pods to each other using their magnet backs to avoid them dangling when not in use. Available in yellow-black, green and orange color.

In the sound department the Realme Buds 2 surprise us even more with their extended lows, strong mids and decent highs. The 11.2mm driver shines here and presents music which is clear, loud and has excellent depth to it. It seems these have been designed for a segment above but the management decided to sell them at a fraction of price. While the sound response is not flattest, the sound signature is going to be liked by most if not all. The in-line microphone is just apt for calls and provides average audio to the listener. In conclusion these earphones are a good buy.

PROS

Excellent build quality.
Premium and rich feel.
Great overall audio quality and bass.
Features such as braided cable and magnetized pods are unique in this segment.

CONS

Slightly heavy.
Straight jack sticks out of devices like a sore thumb, quite literally.

3. Mi Dual Driver in-Ear Earphones

10mm drivers, microphone

The Mi Dual Driver earphones are quite similar in many aspects too the Realme Buds 2, both have partially braided cord and magnetized pods. The overall construction and build is decent, as expected at this price point. The matte finish feels premium in hand and overall a standard affair. One negative which affects the braided cable earphones is that if that cable rubs with clothes or something you tend to hear the distinct sound which travels through the cable to in your ears, this is especially prominent if the sound volume of your content is low. These are available in black and blue colors.

These earphones perform decently in the audio category with aplomb bass at all volumes. They have somewhat a leaned back sound because of the extra bass that they produce and this can be an issue especially when you find the extra bass is coloring the mids. The overall sound signature is quite close to that of the Realme Buds 2, with the exception of loudness. These can churn out a little more volume. A little eq boost to treble make them far better to listen. Remember these are compatible with Android phones only. Overall at the price offered they are a decent buy especially if exaggerated bass doesn’t bother you.

PROS

Good sound quality.
Plenty of bass.
Classic simple looks with premium finish.
Magnetized buds and semi- braided cable.

CONS

Lacking treble.
No cable management.
A bit pricey.

4. Sennheiser CX 180 Street II In-Ear Headphone

10mm drivers, no microphone

Sennheiser CX 180 Street II In-Ear Headphones are precision crafted. Like many other earphones in this price bracket these are made with plastic, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. As a result the earphones weigh less and besides it allows the manufacturers to spend on what matters more, the sound. CX 180s have a color combination that is elegant and it will be pleasing to all. The wires on them is another matter, they are a bit thin and flimsy and by the looks of them it seems durability could be an issue.

CX 180 earphones have a very clear and detailed sound presentation which will strike you as soon as you listen to them. Perfectly balanced bass and overall sound make this pair sound smooth and really good. Together with a comfortable fit and passive noise isolation the dynamics offered by them is truly splendid. Microphone is conspicuous by its absence. Have no doubts that these are one of finest and best budget earphones currently sold in India for under ₹ 1000.

PROS

Superb overall sound.
Light weight.
Smooth sound.
Excellent dynamics.
Neutral bass and treble.

CONS

Thin wires.
No microphone.

5. OnePlus Nord Wired Earphones

9.2 mm drivers, microphone

OnePlus Nord Wired earphones are as the nomenclature suggests as pair of wired earphones. Oneplus has given them a look which is very much identical to the Oneplus bullets wireless Z. They also sport red accents which gives them an energetic vibe. Apart from that the earphones feel solidly built thanks to premium construction and a fantastic braided cable. The inline buttons give a good tactile feedback which is very welcome.

These earphones sound very neutral and bland right out of the box. It is infact very opposite of the erstwhile Oneplus bullets headphones, as those sounded punchy right from the get go. However its surprising what good eq can do to these earphones. A little bit of tweaking and oh! boy do these rock. The mids and highs were already very polished and crisp and when eq’ed the bass gets it all up right to the point where in you get the vibe and move to the rhythm. The fitting is also very snug and these earphones feel comfortable enough. The inline microphone works good and enables great quality conversations without any fuss or issues. Be advised though that while these earphones sound good there are not quite the best in terms of audio quality in these price range.

PROS

Bullets Z lookalike.
Fantastic build.
Comfortable fitting.
Good control system.

CONS

Unimpressive bass.
Audio profile is too bland.
No colorful options for the Gen-X.

6. JBL C100SI In-Ear Headphones

9mm drivers, microphone

JBL is a name which occupies space in literally every household worldwide, and with these headphones it might just cover the remainder of households. The construction and overall build seems very nice and sturdy. Shipped with a total of 3 pairs of ear-tips finding a comfortable fit is not difficult. The noise isolation is good and keeps much of the noise outside. Because they are made of plastic, the weight is on the lower side and the angled buds make for a decent grip and in-ear fitment. Available in black, white and red colors.

Like almost every other JBL product these earphones offer good value for the money spent. The sound quality is great, these are what is called Jack of all trades, these do everything properly. In other words bass is right, mids are good, treble is decent, call quality is nothing to complain about either. Eq improves sound quality especially the low end. Since it has a single button in line remote it makes for a tidier setup at the expense of some functionality. Overall these are one of best earphones offered in India and you are likely to be pleased with your decision to go with them.

PROS

Detailed sound.
Light weight build helps with day long comfort.
Good overall sound.

CONS

Noise leak to those around you.
Lacks the premium feel of some of its competitors.

7. Sony MDR-EX15AP EX Stereo Headphones with Mic

9mm driver, microphone

Sony MDR EX15AP is another example of a good VFM product from Sony. These are a pair of light weight headphones with an average build quality. These have thin wires and housing is plastic, not that any of it has an impact on sound quality but the use of better quality materials surely would have added to the overall product appeal and satisfaction not to forget the extended durability. These are available in as many as 5 different colors, take your pick!

Just like their elder sibling EX150 this pair of headphones are very good sounding. The overall composition of output is similar albeit with a few discernible differences like a little lacking bass output and a little less noise isolation. They have the same strong mid range and treble. The overall smoothness is still very much there. In conclusion a great pair of wired earphones sold under ₹ 1000 in India.

PROS

Light weight and comfortable fit.
Excellent mids and treble.
Sound signature of more expensive headphones.
In-line button on control panel can be customized via app.

CONS

Flimsy build quality.
Average quality of materials, very unlike Sony.

8. Xiaomi Redmi Hi-Resolution Audio Wired Earphone with Mic

10mm driver, microphone

Xiaomi Redmi Hi-Res earphones are a pair of earphones which are light weight yet sturdy. The pods themselves have aluminum chamber for what Xiaomi claims better sound reproduction. The build although doesn’t necessarily reek quality but we weren’t able to find any flaws with them either. Angled earphones, angled jack, decent wire quality all point to the fact that these are built to last. Sold in black, blue & red colors.

Sound quality is right on the money, excellent detailed bass, crisp treble, smooth mid range. The 10mm drivers do a terrific job at churning out audio quality which is surprisingly good. The sound is rich and full of dynamics. Similarly treble is crisp and right on the money. While bass could have been a bit better, especially at higher volumes where it looses its focus a bit. Call quality is very good both ways. On the other hand we would have been a lot happier if the in-line control panel was better and if the earphones were capable of handling more bass. Anyhow these are still a fabulous pair of wired earphones in India in a budget price of under ₹ 1000.

PROS

Sturdy build quality.
Good overall sound.
Good call quality.

CONS

Fitting can be an issue due to angles of the earphones.
Bloated bass at higher volumes.
Single button control panel.

9. pTron Pride HBE in-Ear Stereo Wired Headphones

9.2mm driver, microphone

pTron Pride HBE are one classy and appealing pair of wired earphones. Not only that but every aspect of these earphones reek quality, metallic accents, tangle free durable cable, premium finishing on buds. The earphones themselves are somewhat large and protrude out from the ears, nonetheless the fitting is secure and mostly comfortable.

The audio performance of the pTron Pride HBE wired earphones is very good. The bass has lots of thump and energy to it although it loses on the texture and details a bit. Similarly treble is cohesive and has plenty of resolution in it. The mid-range is decent an provides decent instrument separation and dynamics. The final result being that these are a good looking, stylish, durable pair of earphones with audio quality that has decent kick and lots of dynamics to it but falls a bit short on the quality front. Nonetheless these are one of the best wired earphones under ₹ 1000 in India.

PROS

Beautiful and premium looks.
Sturdy build quality.
Good overall sound.
Decent call quality.

CONS

Mediocre bass.
Some might feel discomfort due to somewhat large earphone size.
Long term reliability of pTron is an unknown territory.

10. boAt Bassheads 100 in Ear Wired Earphones

10mm driver, microphone

Boat bassheads 100 is at the lower end of the price bracket and is an extremely value for money proposition. They flaunt a polarizing hawk style design on the buds. The offer decent fit and comfort levels to the one wearing these. The inline control panel works as expected and the overall built and fit finish is decent, especially once you take into account the price. Usually available in a plethora of color options.

Unlike the moniker bassheads, these twins were lacking bass which is not that big of a problem if you are not the kind that drivers the headphones too loud. At moderate volumes these presented us with good clarity and decent performance which surpassed our expectations from a Boat bassheads category headphone. However loud volume is definitely a problem for mids and trebles which start to sound crude once the volume is a bit on the the higher side. Taking into account everything that these earphones offer (and what they don’t) these are actually a good buy at the budget price they are sold for in India and you are sure to be surprised by them.

PROS

Price factor.
Decent performance at low and medium volumes.
Good call clarity
Decent build quality.

CONS

Not capable of high volumes.
Slightly low on bass.

11. Honor AM115 Half in-Ear Earphones with mic

unknown driver size, microphone

The AM115 earphones from Honor are a budget pair of earphones with not so budget build quality. Earphones are robust and built to last. The design is more inline with the now quite old Apple wired headphones. The fit is a bit more tricky compared to full in ear earphones. The Honor AM115 is a pair which because of its design doesn’t quite offer the superior noise isolation of complete in-ear designs but other than that it is really a quality product. Available in only one color, white.

Performance wise these put a smile on your face the moment you start listening through them. For instance they offer good levels of bass, treble and mids. Overall performance is simply smooth and these don’t seem to lack anything in particular in the audio department. Although Honors’ do loose some of their musicality once volume is pushed to the louder end of the limit. Similarly somewhat average microphone is used to transmit and record audio. Overall a surprisingly good pair of earphones which rivals the very best in India in this price.

PROS

Good overall sound.
Great build quality and finish.
Surprisingly smooth response.

CONS

Fitting is a hit or miss.
White color is difficult to maintain.

12. Blaupunkt EM10 Wired Earphone

10mm driver, microphone

In a crowd of headphones Blaupunkt EM10 manages to stand out with its simple and elegant looks. While it is made from standard plastic and no fancy material, the overall fit and finish is decent. The noise isolation by in-ear buds is apt and prevents much of outside noise to creep into the ear. Moreover angles jack and earphones make this a lasting affair with an additional upside in the form of increased comfort levels

The initial impression upon listening through them are one of high audio quality. EM10 impressed us with excellent audio quality and tonality. Fast and accurate overall sound. We initially found the bass to be a bit lacking but in reality these were outputting a ‘non-boosted’ audio output, which is a good thing. The output is flat and doesn’t exaggerate any frequency band in particular. However the call quality is just average. Above all and ultimately at their price these are value for money wired earphones in India under ₹ 1000.

PROS

Flat audio response.
Angled jack.

CONS

Needs eq to sound engaging.
Cord quality is average.
