The SI/SO-15T3SDIA is a superb value for money 1.5 Ton AC from Sanyo. The AC is a well built unit with generic and crude looks. The plastics used are are not the best in business, albeit a gander at the AC wasn’t enough to reach this conclusion. The weight of ODU is approx 27 Kgs which is rather low for a 1.5 ton inverter AC. Moreover the remote is a small unit with slim buttons which are counter intuitive. On the bright side the AC is a budget friendly option and is perhaps one of the cheapest 1.5 ton 3 star inverter AC currently available.
Performance Aspect
The performance of this AC has reduced vis a vis SI/SO-15T3SCIC. The BTU have dropped to 18420 from 18750, while the drop is small the effect is certainly felt. By the same token its got a good two tone finish and combined with a swooping belly it looks elegant and smaller than it really is. Its definitely one of the better looking Voltas AC. We are equally impressed by the build quality which is tough and beefy. This AC is a winner in the making.

With such a high quality and strong build a strong performance was anticipated. This split AC does not have a inverter compressor but that should not mean it lacks in performance.
