Build Aspect
The Blue Star IC309RBTU is a 0.8 Ton AC which is suitable for small sized rooms. The overall build quality is good just like any other Blue Star product. The indoor unit is a classy and a elegantly crafted machine with a hidden temp. display and a beautiful gold trim. The AC feels rather expensive and moreover feels sturdily built too. Similarly the outdoor unit and rem-con reek quality. Blue Star has not cut any corners here, the AC is a well designed and a well built unit, there are no 2 ways about it.
Performance Aspect
Moving on to the meat of the product, the cooling, this AC is very efficient and easy on pocket thanks to its 0.8 Ton inverter compressor while being perfectly suited for small rooms. It has a modest cooling capacity of 9008 BTU/hr. However the ISEER rating is decent at 3.92 W/W for a 3 star rated AC. Although company doesn’t list the CFM we would wager it is around ~275 CFM which should be okay for a small sized room. Moreover the noise levels are very low at just 32.5 dB at low fan speeds making the AC literally noise less. As with most if not all this AC just features 2 way auto swing. Additionally its also not shipped or equipped with any sort of PM2.5 filter, to beat the pollution. Be that as it may taking into account the target audience, impressive ISEER this AC seems OK.
