Build Aspect

The AmazonBasics 1.5 Ton Inverter AC is one of the cheapest and most budget friendly available in India. Unlike then PBAC18K3INV301 (2019 model made by Guangdong Midea Air-Conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd. China) the 2021 model AB2020INAC021 is made in India. The newer model is more modern looking , more wider, has a better remote and looks and feels better in almost every aspect. Finally the hidden temperature display adds to the looks and ease of use.

Performance Aspect

The AC has 17231 BTU /hr cooling capacity which is kind of expected at the entry level price point. Although its a 3 star rated AC its ISEER is mighty impressive at 3.98. Further even though we do not have any official air flow rating, a rough comparison puts it around 575 CFM which is pretty darn decent. The AC quickly and efficiently works its magic to bring down the mercury, and it does that by not making too much fuss and without stressing the power meters. Wrapping it up  in the end by stating that this AC is a performer especially given is entry level price range.
