Build Aspect

The Blaupunkt SBA20 Party is a hybrid speaker solution. It can be used as a Soundbar and a portable Bluetooth speaker as per your needs. Unlike the 16watt version the design of this soundbar well rounded and classy. Colorful RGB lights add to the flair and desirability. Furthermore the soundbar has a 7 hour rated runtime which makes it perfect for trips and use in remote places.  However it does not have an IP rating, therefore it is unprotected from the elements. Ultimately it is suffice to say that this Bluetooth speaker is well built and definitely looks more premium than what it costs.

Performance Aspect

This speaker system is a very good one, the drivers pack a decent punch. Lets dive in to details. The bass is apt considering the price, size and application of the product. Similarly the mid-range which includes vocals and instruments are coherent.  Likewise treble are precise and cohesive, in fact quite revealing too. Having said that in closed rooms the audio has tendency to sound shrill at times. We are also not impressed by imaging of the soundbar. Adding to the thrill is the fact that this unit supports TWS pairing mode with another identical unit, which can not only increase the dynamics but also create a fantastic stereo sound stage. It also supports FM and Karaoke which is just icing on the cake. Basically this is a jack of all trades and hence a very good buy for someone looking to buy a portable speaker or a simple Bluetooth speaker in the 2000 rupee category.
