Build Aspect
5W18LD is a 1.5 Ton Window AC with 5 star energy efficiency from the house of Blue Star. The looks are uncomplicated and rather elementary. Similarly the build is rock solid and this AC is a durable one, for instance the plastics are of high quality and copper is used for coils which is 100% pure. Moreover the remote is well made has a perfectly lay out making it easy to use, not to forget it is backlit equipped too.
Performance Aspect
The cooling performance of this AC is more than the 3 star variant and is 17265 BTU. This is indeed very good and when this is teamed up with a fan which pitches 449 CFM air the in-room cooling is strong and impressive. However noise levels of this AC are somewhat high, again because of the compressor which is not wrapped in an acoustic jacket and in part because of high fan speed. This AC is very efficient and roughly saves 10% of electricity when compared directly with the 3 star rated version, while cooling a bit more. So in totality given its attractive price and its competence this AC is a wonderful buy and easily a fantastic 5 star rated 1.5 Ton AC in India.
