Build Aspect

The Boat Aavante Bar 1250 soundbar is a 2.1 channel soundbar from the Indian audio brand. Right of the bat, the build quality of this setup feels very good and both the units are really well built. The soundbar is fabricated from high quality glossy plastic and the subwoofer from MDF. Furthermore the sleek and slender profile of both the units make them pleasing to look at and this should not take away anything from the looks of your entertainment system. The soundbar itself can either be wall mounted or simply placed on the unit. On the whole the unit is well designed and decently built.

Performance Aspect

While all Boat audio products are well built not all fare good on the performance yardstick. This soundbar has a total of 3 drivers which cover the entire audio bandwidth and are split between subwoofer and soundbar units with the latter having 2 drivers. Let me simply say this first, this soundbar sounds very good, and we are pleasantly surprised. Now lets dive into the details, the treble response and output is clean, clear and very transparent. It has got that hint of flare which borders on harshness but never crosses that fine line. Moreover the small but powerful 2.25″ drivers present sonic nuances with clarity and lots of depth, the sound-stage is wide and clear. Finally the subwoofer, while it is not exactly groundbreaking, earth chattering one, it pairs well with the soundbar and completes the harmonious audio output that makes this package a whole. Do note the bass can get boomy at times, while it may add to the effects during action movies, its ill for critical and music listening. Taking into account all the above it would right to conclude that this is one of the best soundbar that you can buy for around ₹ 5000 in India.
