Build Aspect

Boat audio products are making a good name for themselves and are tremendous value for money spent. Lets dive deeper into the Aavante Bar 2050 and know more. The soundbar itself is made from plastic with a metal grill and is equipped with 4 x 2.25″ drivers that perform the mid-range and treble duty, while the wireless subwoofer is equipped with a rather decent 6.5″ driver. The overall construction and build is good and while the soundbar is made from plastic the subwoofer is made from MDF with a glossy plastic front baffle. The wireless subwoofer is side firing with a rear bass reflex port to extend and increase the LFE output. Soundbar has the capability to be wall mounted and consequently is relatively light weight. The input options are plenty with Optical, HDMI ARC, Aux, USB and Bluetooth connectivity.

Performance Aspect

The audio quality of the soundbar is very good, crisp and full bodied. It brings theatrical experience and takes TV viewing to another level. The bass is strong and adds lots of thump and rumble to action movies and music, 6.5″ woofer is really up for the task. Likewise the mids and treble are very articulate and provide good instrument separation. Moreover the unit is capable of handling bursts in dynamics and high volumes.  However the treble can be piercing at times and therefore sound a bit harsh at occasion. Nonetheless it is still one of the finest and best sounding soundbars under 10000 rupees in India.
