Boat Aavante Bar 900 is a low priced soundbar aimed at budget conscious buyers. It boasts of a simple design which is very functional. Which is being unobtrusive. The form factor is slim and this soundbar houses 2 drivers in totality in such a wide body. The material used mostly of plastic however the mesh grill is metal. Soundbar is well built and the black gloss finish gives it a good and nice and premium look. Considering the price range the input options are plentiful. For instance you get not one but two Aux inputs for your peripherals. Similarly it has Digital optical input as well as HDMI ARC capability and yes it has Bluetooth too. Like most mainstream soundbars this can be wall mounted or simply kept as a table top soundbar.

Performance Aspect

Let me preface this section by saying that this soundbar has a very “Boat” kind of sound. Primarily the main use case of this soundbar is audio enhancement and not to cinema effects, because clearly this soundbar is incapable of that. With that in mind it can be said that this Bar 900 does a fantastic job. It brings the dialogues to the forefront and presents them with cohesion and clarity. Highs are noticeable and add this adds a lot of energy to the dull TV audio. The 2 inch drivers struggle to provide any sort of decent lows to compliment the symphony of sound and that is kind of expected. Stereo separation is very good which is a consequence distance between the drivers. All things said and done this is a perfect soundbar if you want to simply accentuate your TV audio experience with the occasional music listening.
