Build Aspect
The CAS18ES3R30F1 (CAS18ES3R30CX) or Durawhite Pro+ CX is a 1.5 ton 3 star split air conditioner from Carrier. Fantastic rounded curves, smooth gloss finish make up for the facade of the indoor of AC. There is minimum overhang in the looks of the indoor. Moving out on to the outdoor, its a neatly packed unit which has a reassuring feel to it. Moreover it weighs a hefty 33.5 kilos, which is a testament to its build quality. Last but not the least, the remote control, ain’t that a wonderful unit. Ergonomic layout, good spacing and a follow me temperature sensor.
Performance Aspect
Carrier ACs are impressive performers. This AC has a below par 17473 BTU per hour cooling potential. At first this seems unremarkable but prepare to be flabbergasted as the air blower is phenomenal. It is a mouthwatering 700 CFM capable blower which will knock your socks off! Thanks to the combined efforts of both the motors the AC turns out to be an effective one. And even though the drafts are strong the noise is well contained and never gets overly disturbing. Unfortunately the AC lacks auto horizontal swing. All things considered this AC makes heat a matter of far cry and therefore is one of the best 1.5 ton split AC in India.
