Build Aspect

ATKL35TV is a 1 Ton split AC offering from Daikin, and a very good one indeed. The looks are a scaled down version of their popular 1.5 Ton Split ATKL50TV which is in fact a good thing. Subsequently the AC has a well rounded design which would have a widespread appeal. Likewise the plastics and general build quality is very good and there is absolutely no scope for complaints here. Fortunately enough the outdoor has a good build quality too, its is well built and although lacks in heft a bit, it doesn’t feel too skinny. The remote too is the well built and ergonomic Daikin remote, which unfortunately is not backlit.

Performance Aspect

The cooling of this is perfect and very adequate with a decent 12600 BTU/hr capacity. In unison with a windy air throw speed of 473 CFM (at a nominal noise of 40 db) this AC works wonders. Consequently the need for 4 way swing is negated as you can feel the flow of this air in every corner of the room, of course with its 2 way swing. In more good news the ISEER is a phenomenal 3.99 which is a fabulous rating for a 3 star inverter split AC. Unfortunately this AC is not equipped with a PM 2.5 filter or one of those neat hidden displays, but then this AC is perfectly good at its core as an Air conditioner. So ultimately it can be inferred that this is one of the best 1 ton split AC in India.
