The RAW511HEDO is a 1 ton window AC offering from Hitachi, it belongs to the Kaze series of air conditioners. This AC is unlike many other Hitachi ACs, neither does it feel premium nor does it look as good as them. Although thankfully it feels as sturdy and well built like the lookers. Moreover the use of copper for condenser coils is reassuring and should put to rest durability concerns.

Performance Aspect

Hitachi has developed a sort of knack for selling ACs that are very high performance and this particular model is no exception. Donning a perfect 12000 BTU / hour cooling capacity the AC is a good chilling machine. This compressor works in collaboration with a adequate 400 CFM volume capable fan. The result is very good indeed and the AC effectively and quickly works to relax the temperature indoors. In what can be termed as a double bonanza it is able to achieve superlative cooling with a very respectable 3.45 ISEER rating, meaning this AC is high on energy savings.
