Build Aspect

The IACI18GB5G3C is a 1.5 Ton 5 star rated inverter AC from the Fastcool Gold series from IFB. The AC is well built and reeks quality inside out. The outdoor unit uses a metal body to shield high tech internals from weather and elements while the indoor unit has a classy and elegant design. Even the remote control is of high quality and moreover is very easy to use even in dark thanks to back light and well though placement of buttons.

Performance Aspect

Moving on to the performance of this AC, it is very good in one word. Yes it has got fan speed of 618 CFM which pushes out fast and cold air to rapidly cool down the room despite moderate 17743 BTU. The AC has an inverter compressor and subsequently the efficiency is very good with 4.72 ISEER. Additionally the AC has a PM 0.3 filter which purifies the air of a mid sized room very quickly again thanks to supreme air flow. However even at lowest fan speed the AC is somewhat comparably noisy making 38 dB of noise. To round up it would be fairly accurate to say that this IFB AC is a winner on all counts and is probably one of best 1.5 Ton split AC in India.
