Build Aspect

The Infinity Sonic B200WL  is a budget soundbar offering from Harmans stable. The soundbar is paired with a wireless subwoofer which is made of MDF. And oh, the soundbar itself is made from plastic and gladly the quality of it is very good. The design is simple and sophisticated, nothing flashy at all. Although the subwoofer is made of MDF it is somewhat light in weight and feels a bit flimsy, especially the fact that the driver is rear mounted and unprotected. On the other hand the remote is an ergonomic and well built unit. On the whole the build quality is very satisfactory.

Performance Aspect

Performance and sound quality is something where Infinity has made quite a name for itself in the recent past. And we set to explore and listen to this unit with high expectation. And we are glad to report that we were not disappointed in the least. The soundbar impressed us with good sound quality, especially in the treble and mid-range region, both of which were very accurate, precise and dynamic. The loud passage of tracks were handled with ease and the vocals sounded clear at even modest volumes. The bass is good but starts to feel and sound hollow progressively, tell tale signs of a weak subwoofer! The input options are a plenty but there is some bad news for the buffs as HDMI ARC is conspicuously absent from the unit. All things considered B200WL Infinity soundbar is a good budget option, especially under 10000 Rupees.
