Build Aspect

The Elite 2 TWS earbuds are a one of the cheaper offerings from Jabra. A gander at these earbuds and you can mistake them easily for the elder sibling Elite 3. Which is not particularly good because that means they are just as boring and simple. Furthermore they miss the control scheme that is available to the Elite 3. Overall build is tough and a drop or two should not put any blemishes. Regardless the fitting is very snug and comfortable. The battery life of case is also less and holds charge for only 2 additional charges versus 3 on the Elite 3, despite it being the same size. Fortunately the battery size of the earbuds remains the same giving them a good battery life.

Performance Aspect

The Jabra Elite 2 wireless earphones are musical and impressive. For most part the sound is very much alike the Elite 3 which has already garnered high praise. They are equipped with the same 6mm driver and therefore the bass is sweet, with an engaging boost. Likewise the mids are anything but tawdry. Finally the treble while it is revealing, instruments like saxophone, trumpets and clarinets sound hollow. Nevertheless considering the larger picture the earphones sound consistently good. Call quality is not the best and when you query what is wrong the microphones say “Mea Culpa!”. That is these earbuds have just 2 mics which do not provide the kind of call quality that the 4 mic system Elite 3 offers. To round it all up it would be fair to say that the Elite 2 are really good and despite their (limited) shortcoming are certainly one of the best earbuds under 5000 in India.
