The JBL Tour One are a ANC capable wireless headphones with simplistic looks. The headphones have a very simple and sober looks. These don’t have any sort of visual cues or unique design elements so to say. As a result the looks are monotonous and boring. What is sad that these are available in only black color. The are built using good quality plastics and feel relatively sturdy and well built. Plush and soft padding helps achieve a good comfortable fit while the metal insert in headband increases durability. Lastly a humongous battery ensures that these headphones can be used for nearly 50 hours on a single charge.

Performance Aspect

This pair of JBL headphones have a warm sound profile with a slight boost in low tones. As a result audio tracks and music have a energizing bass which sounds engaging. Correspondingly mid range is very balanced and neutral across the range, all instruments and vocals sound phenomenal and clear. While it can be argued that highs are the weak link, case in point being certain high-hats and triangle sounds are laid back and lacking in sizzle. Nevertheless its nothing a simple eq can not fix. In totality the audio performance is good and the drivers are capable of handling extreme dynamics without sounding compressed or stressed. The ANC is unsatisfactory and does not hold a candle to likes of Bose or Sony. Ultimately it can be inferred that these are a boring yet good performing pair of headphones with an insignificant ANC.
