Build Aspect
LG is a brand that always crosses our minds whenever we are on the lookout for buying a new home appliance such as an AC. The 1.5 Ton 3 star Inverter AC is a very well made and reasonable AC from LG. The outdoor unit is built using metal and increases it durability and protection many folds. The indoor unit is made of high grade plastic which has a gloss finish to it and a no non-sense elegant look. The compressor is a Dual inverter one and therefore is very efficient and fast at cooling. It comes with a class leading 10 years of warranty too.
Performance Aspect
The AC is sort of an entry level inverter AC from LG. Still its a very good performer, its cooling capacity is rated at 18766 BTU /hour which is very good thanks to the dual inverter compressor. The indoor unit is whisper quiet at slow fan speeds at just 26 db and the fan noise is well damped even at higher fan speeds. However one gripe we have is that the left / right swing is not motorized, like it is in the 5 star model. Moreover the max indoor fan speed has a CFM of 441, so its effectiveness will be rather less in longer rooms as its cool air struggles to travel the distance. Be that as it may this is probably one of the best 1.5 Ton Split AC with inverter compressor at a great price in India.
