Build Aspect

LG ACs are some of the most sought after because of their solid build quality and unparalleled performance. The PS-Q19YNXE another such 1.5 Ton 3 star Inverter AC from LG. For starters the IDU is a simplistic and tidy unit finished in gloss and a has nice rounded design, it weighs around 9 kilos. On the other hand the outdoor unit is wrapped in metal and feels solidly build despite its 27 kilo weight. All in all the AC is well made, looks good and should be durable thanks to the Ocean Black Protection on fins and copper tubes.

Performance Aspect

The cooling of this AC is impressive thanks to its 18766 BTU /hr rated cooling capacity. However the blower fan is anemic in performance with just 441 CFM capacity and when you ask why this AC lacks, the fan motor shouts “Mea culpa!”. Consequently in long rooms the drafts of air struggles to travel the distance. Unsurprisingly the noise levels are quite low at just 26db at lowest fan speed and the AC is super quiet in operation. All in all despite its shortcomings it still makes for a fine 3 star Inverter 1.5 ton split AC in India.
