Build Aspect
LG FHV1408ZWP is high quality lifestyle and Wi Fi enabled front loading washing machine. Its a beautiful machine with solid built exteriors. The color itself is very premium to look at and as a result its a beautiful addition to any home. Add to that the fact that the machine has a very solid and capable DC inverter motor and a stainless steel drum. Surprisingly it is not very heavy but thanks to good weight distribution and excellent engineering the machine feels rigid. On the matter of controls, the standard jog dial, display and button setup is found which is perfect and easy to use. Apart from that the inbuilt Wi Fi control lets you control and manage the washing machine from a distance.
Performance Aspect
LG uses a direct drive setup for this washing machine which is powered by an inverter motor. This setup enables the drum to spin at a top speed of 1400 RPM with finesse. As a result the machine is a solid performer. Where some other machines tend to whine and show stress when pushed hard this direct drive setup is fantastic. A functional heater together with adequate wash modes mean LG has got you covered. Impressively the water usage is just 7.85 liters per Kg per wash cycle. Therefore it can be concluded that it is a very good 8 kg washing machine best suited for lifestyle and smart homes.
