Build Aspect

LG ACs are solid build, high performance ACs backed with a strong dealer network. PS-Q18TNXE1 another such 1.5 Ton 3 star Inverter AC from LG. For starters the indoor unit is a simple yet elegant looking with a rich gloss finish to it. Apart from that the shape is sleek, rounded and the overhang is well within reasonable limits. On the other hand the outdoor unit is wrapped in metal but alas is very light in weight, feels very unlike LG.

Performance Aspect

The cooling of this AC is tops out at 17572 BTU which is not particularly high performance, its just passable. Similarly the blower fan is anemic in performance with just 441 CFM capacity and when you ask why this AC lacks, the fan motor shouts “Mea culpa!”. As a result of this the drafts of air struggles to travel distance with force. It also lacks 4 way auto swing which generally helps deal with slower fan issues. On the bright side the noise levels are quite low at just 26db at lowest fan speed and the AC is super quiet in operation. After taking into account all that matters it can be termed as just an average 3 star 1.5 ton split AC.
