Build Aspect
RS-Q13JNYE is a 4 star inverter AC with 1 Ton capacity made by LG. Having seen so many LG units we expect nothing short of good build from a LG Air conditioner. And therefore as expected the build is rather good. We are particularly impressed by the quality of plastics used. Furthermore the ocean black protection is a boon, which helps the copper tubing last longer. The Split AC Indoor unit not only seems durable but also has a rich sheen and is easy to clean. Similarly the outdoor unit is encased in a metal body which protects the compressor, outdoor fan, PCB and other components. It feels very sturdy and well put together. LG also packs in a set of rubber feet to attach later to help absorb the vibrations of the said ODU.
Performance Aspect
This 1 Ton Air Conditioner is a real powerhouse. It has a peak performance of over 13000 BTUs which is really good. This is achieved with the help of combination of compressor which is a good performer as well as an adequate 425 CFM blower which does duty in most other 1 ton LG splits. We hate Air conditioners with 2 way swing, however this is not one of them. Together with good blower speed, high compressor performance and a 4 way swing mechanism this AC works wonderfully well in small to mid sized rooms. The dual inverter compressor is really efficient with a splendid ISEER of 4.70. Therefore if it were rated before July 2022 it would be a 5 star rated AC. Oh and do note that this AC is basically the same as PS-Q13YNZE. However changes in the ISEER ratings now mean that this AC is not a 4 star model instead of 5 star one. What this means is that this Split AC uses 571.99 units of electricity per year and is therefore a very efficient one. All in all this Air conditioner is a fantastic one and is certainly suitable for small rooms, places where a 1 Ton capacity is enough.
