Build Aspect

Lloyd is a brand whose products are very competent and are priced competitively. The GLW18B32WAZS is a 1.5 Ton Window AC from the them with similar traits. Despite the simple design the AC somehow manages to look good and elegant, perhaps as a result of dash of gold or the of flush mounted control panel. Whatever it is strikes a chord and the AC is indeed elegant. The plastics, copper, steel all seem of good quality and therefore durable. There is coating on the copper coils and subsequently is should be less prone to corrosion.

Performance Aspect

Alright then coming to the very essence of an AC, its cooling… well as far as this AC goes it is very mediocre. For instance the compressor is only capable 16719 BTU / hour cooling capacity. Additionally the fan speed is below par, which makes matters worse. Even the energy efficiency ratings are not good, with a mediocre 2.99 ISEER. One good thing though is the price, this is an affordable 1.5 Ton AC but not a very competent one.
