Build Aspect

The GLW12B32WSEW is a 1 Ton window AC from Lloyd with 3 star energy efficiency rating. Generally speaking the window AC seems well built and of average quality. The looks of the AC are simple and quite generic, nothing stand out, nothing to complain about. Additionally the remote has a good layout and feels good and is very easy to use. Maybe its a placebo effect but this 1 ton AC feels a shade better with its plastics than the 1.5 ton counterpart.

Performance Aspect

The cooling performance of the 1 Ton window AC is very good. The rotary compressor is capable of 11601 BTU, making it a very effective AC. This compressor is paired up with a blower which in turn has a very disappointing air flow volume of 191 CFM. On the bright side, slow fan speed means less noise and the maximum noise of this AC is at 52 db. It lacks a PM 2.5 filter which is another disappointment. In totality the AC is a mediocre one but the price point makes it an attractive proposition.
