Build Aspect
The CW-LC183AM is a very competitively priced 1.5 Ton 3 star window AC. First things first this AC is made in India. The build quality seems mostly okay and durable with no discernible issues. The looks are simple and no flamboyancy elements are present, it presents it self as a tireless worker. The fins have a coating which prevents corrosion of the copper, which further increases the durability of this AC. Moreover the AC has adequate heft giving rise to a sense of longevity and quality. Unfortunately the remote control has some buttons which are too slim making them counter intuitive.
Performance Aspect
In terms of cooling, this AC is what we can say is more than what meets the eye. That is its cooling capacity is a non exceptional 16380 BTU only. But thanks to a good air blower, with its thunderous air flow of 501 CFM the overall effect of AC is pretty darn good. Its cool air is able to reach with good intensity to distant corners and give relief from humid and hot environments. Moreover the high airflow also helps in catching harmful pollutants quickly thanks to the included PM 2.5 filter. Alas the energy efficiency is 3 stars only with a lack luster 3.00 w/w ISEER. Coming to the noise, its a bit loud at max fan speeds and not particularly silent on slow speeds too. Be that as it may this is a fantastic AC and probably one of the best 1.5 ton 3 star window AC in India currently.
