Build Aspect

The CW-XN121AM is a high performance yet low priced 1 Ton 5 star window AC from Panasonic. The looks of the AC are quite generic and simple. That being said the build quality is decent and the AC seems rather durable. For example the fins have a blue enamel coating which prevents corrosion of the copper. Furthermore the AC has plentiful heft as a result of use of good quality steel and strong plastics, further giving a sense of durability. However not all is perfect as the remote control has some really puny buttons which makes it less than ideal.

Performance Aspect

Okay, the cooling of this window AC is very good. The capable rotary compressor uses R22 refrigerant and is able to provide 11770 BTU / hour cooling capacity. This compressor coupled with an immensely fast blower which is able to put 477 CFM volume of air cools and bringing the humidity down quickly. Although as a drawback the noise of 57 db is on the higher side. Thankfully the AC is also equipped with a PM 2.5 filter which helps in getting rid of airborne pollutants. Finally the AC manages all that without excessive electricity consumption as is evident by its top tier 3.35 ISEER. To sum up, this AC is essentially one of the best and cheapest 1 Ton AC available in India.
