Build Aspect
The SU24WKYW is a WiFi enabled smart inverter AC from Panasonic. The IDU has a contemporary look and gives a vibe of a particularly high-end AC. Moreover the ODU unit is very sturdy although admittedly very light weight at just 26 kilos. Featuring WiFi and connectivity with personal assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant this AC is a must have for tech-savvy who like to integrate everything in smart home environment. Furthermore the remote has a cool blue back light but on the down side some buttons are slim, making them counter intuitive.
Performance Aspect
The compressor is an inverter (not tenet time inversion) capable unit. Its capable of 21155 BTU which is rather mediocre for a 2 ton AC. However the fan is capable and really helps disperse the chilled air properly. Albeit the AC is a somewhat noisy at 43 dB at low fan speeds. The Wi Fi feature helps connect you to a smart home environment system for ease of use and automation. While this AC is equipped with a PM 2.5 filter its usage is somewhat redundant in a office or showroom space where doors are constantly opened. However it is a welcome addition if AC is installed in a closed door space. For some reason Panasonic skips the motorized horizontal swing feature on this Split AC. All things said and done, this is a very good and perhaps one of best smart 2 Ton split AC with decent overall cooling and features.
