Build Aspect
The CS/CU-RU18XKYTA is a budget 3 star Inverter Split AC from Panasonic. This IDU has a contemporary design with the family Panasonic looks, although plastic quality is unimpressive. Similarly the ODU is well built and durable albeit with a light weight construction. Indoor unit also comes with a hidden display which further accentuates the looks and neatness. We have never been fans of Panasonic remote controls and this AC is no different since it has a very poorly designed remote with too slim buttons.
Performance Aspect
Panasonic ACs have good performance and this model is no different. In summer heat, its a good place to be near this AC since it has 18950 BTU cooling capacity. Although the fan blower is not very powerful, it does a passable job of providing drafts of relief to the occupants. Additionally the PM 2.5 filter captures pollutants to give a healthy and cool environment. However it is noisy indoors at 48 db at max fan speed which can be an issue. Nonetheless all things considered especially its price it can be termed as decent 1.5 Ton split AC for those on a budget in India.
