Build Aspect

The CW-XN182AM is a high performance yet low priced 1.5 Ton 5 star window AC from Panasonic. The looks are generic and simple of this window AC. As is consistent with history, Panasonic products are durable and of high quality. Case in point, the fins have a coating which prevents corrosion of the copper. Moreover the AC has plentiful heft further promoting a sense of durability. Not all is perfect as the remote control has a less than ideal setup as some buttons are too slim making them counter intuitive. Curiously the weight of this model has reduced to 53 kilos from 57 kilos of the Panasonic CW-XN181AM.

Performance Aspect

This AC is a chilling machine as before and has an excellent cooling performance of 17230 BTU. Add to it a strong fan blower and the draft takes sting out of the heat. Surprisingly for some reason the blower on this AC is slower than CW-LC183AM which has 501 CFM versus 477 CFM of this AC. Be that as it may its still very good. Fortunately Panasonic includes a PM 2.5 filter which cleans the air, and is a boon in dusty areas and cities. Adding to the thrill is the 5 star energy efficiency rating. As a result of all its good capabilities and a decent price point, it is appropriate to call this as one the best 1.5 ton window AC in India.
