Build Aspect
Samsung products are well made and high quality products which are backed by an extensive service network. Samsung AR24BY4YBWK is a 2 Ton split AC with 4 star energy efficiency. The IDU is a simple looking one with no flamboyant design elements, it looks elegant. Together with a sloping and curvy design this AC looks smaller that it actually is. Apart from that the overall build quality is very good too and your will be hard pressed to find any issues. The remote control has a excellent layout and can be used in dark with ease. One small issue is that despite the precision fit and assembly of the AC, the ODU felt a little underweight for a 2 ton AC.
Performance Aspect
This 2 ton AC has a very potent 25591 BTU capable compressor. Additionally a 682 CFM air volume blower resides and performs the air flow duty. When this compressor and air blower work together it is the beginning of end of hot temperature in the room, yes its supremely powerful. All this with very good and efficient 4.06 ISEER. There is one small issue though, this AC lacks 2 way horizontal swing mechanism which is kind of a must especially in 2 ton ACs which are meant for larger spaces. Anyhow, taking into account its Himalayan cooling and strong air flow this AC can be easily be regarded as one of the best 2 Ton AC.
