Build Aspect
Samsung CE1041DSB2 is a 28 litre convection microwave with 900 watts of output power. Evidently the microwave is well built although the quality of plastics is not particularly inspiring. By the same token the sides are all metal, with a rugged feel and a thick door. Inside the door are a plethora of cooking modes written on the frame. Unfortunately the cavity is ceramic coated. While its easy to maintain and clean, it consumes more energy and is susceptible to damage. Moving on, the control set is all digital with membrane touch buttons and a small display, it is quite enough.
Performance Aspect
Samsung products are usually one of the best performing products in their class, be it appliances or mobiles. This particular convection, grill, microwave oven is a jack of all trades so to say. For instance it has 6 levels of microwave heating and using combination with grill or convection achieving the optimum cooking and heating environment is possible. One feature that stands out amongst the plethora of features is the Slim Fry feature which essentially air fires food, effectively. Thankfully 2 wire racks (high and low) and crusty plate (for browning etc) are provided with the package for cooking various recipes. All in all this is one of the best convection microwave ovens in India, period.
