Build Aspect

The Galaxy Buds 2 are an ANC enabled wireless earphones tuned by AKG. First things first, the form factor is minimal which ensures portability, less protrusion and high comfort levels. The case feels well built and sturdy enough to withstand plenty of abuse. That being said we are not particularly fan of the gloss finish, it looks a little cheap. Thankfully the small size doesn’t affect the battery and these earbuds can easily last several days with a total playback time of 29 hours.

Performance Aspect

We set our expectation high from these pair of wireless earbuds, since the Galaxy Buds+ were among the best sounding earbuds in their class. Primarily the bass response is quite alike the Galaxy Buds+ i.e., accurate, deep and fast. Likewise with the mid range is well balance and presents vocals, instruments with aplomb dynamics and clarity. The treble seems to be even better than their predecessor as a peak in early high frequency seems to be tamed. Furthermore the high treble is more sibilant which increases level of perceived detail, at the cost of sounding shrill on some tracks. On the whole the sound profile is well balanced and full bodied. As wireless earphones go, these are one of the best sounding earbuds in their price range with lots of musicality.
