Build Aspect
If you need a budget soundbar with fantastic build, appreciable sound quality read no more and simply buy the Samsung HW-T400/XL Soundbar available for around around ₹ 5000 INR. If you still need more reasons, read on. First and foremost the build quality and looks are very good. The unit is a solidly built one or atleast feels that way. It is wrapped in acoustically transparent cloth on the front and top which not only gives it a neat look but also looks elite. The soundbar is equipped with 4 drivers. On the connectivity side the soundbar has Optical, Aux, USB and Bluetooth. It also has a NFC tag on the top of the unit which makes pairing via Bluetooth super convenient.
Performance Aspect
This is a soundbar from Samsung and yet it does not cost an arm or leg. This is a budget soundbar from the point of view of Samsung. The output is rated at 40 watts for this soundbar. The audio quality is excellent and you can feel in in the texture and intricate details that it presents. The DAC is of high quality in this soundbar. Bass is adequate for normal TV viewing and casual music listening. It seems to strike the right balance wherein the sound quality feels completely fulfilling. The mids are resolving and relaxed, nonetheless more detailing is revealed than you would expect. Furthermore the tonality is natural and very open. Highs are another strong point for this soundbar, akin to the mid range the treble is smooth, has sparkle yet never sounds sibilant. It is a perfect mix and this makes for a compelling case for this soundbar, of course unless you dig a subwoofer in which case you should either increase your budget or look at budget brands.
