Build Aspect

The Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds are quite the namesake, Sports oriented earbuds. And oh boy they do excel in that. Primarily they have a rugged build quality and construction which when paired with their IP rating makes them perfect for outdoor, Gym usage. Facilitating the solid build are provided interchangeable wings and ear-tips which help in providing the best snug fit possible. Yes they also come with touch controls so that you do not need to reach for your mobile phone at all. Perhaps its prudent we mention that the accompanying app is most helpful and should be downloaded. The case is also well built and can recharge the earbuds twice stretching a very good 9 hour number to a 27 hour one.

Performance Aspect

The sound quality of Sennheiser seldom disappoints and I can gladly confirm that these earbuds are not the exception. Plonked with a 7mm driver the sound quality is quite rich and has a very vibrant texture to it. The lows hit hard and provide good bass even when outdoors and in noisy environments. Furthermore the midrange is watery smooth, revealing notes and sounds in a most transparent way. The highs do sound grainy at times but then they are not piercing or veiled, they are perfectly well balanced. There is a drawback, while the earbuds come with a transparent mode, allowing outside noises, voices to filter through to the ears. They surprisingly lack any ANC, means you solely rely on the acoustic seal for that matter. To round it up, taking into its price band, the sound quality, the build, the targeted user profile I would not hesitate in saying that these earbuds are a perfect companion for those who do not need ANC, period.
