With support of Dolby Atmos in the HT-Z9F sound bar, audiences will get a sense of helicopters whizzing above and car chase action clashing around you. Combined with Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine and the S- Force PRO Front Surround technology, which improves the existing surround sound, it now recreates the feeling of being surrounded by speakers for a true home theatre environment. Virtual three-dimensional sound can be enjoyed thanks to the Vertical S. button on the remote that pushes the HT-Z9F to up-mix 2ch stereo content up to 7.1.2ch. If users wish to add a pair of rear speakers, the SA-Z9R is designed to go with the HT-Z9F and can extend the surround sound experience.

The HT-Z9F is made for the latest home cinema formats. It supports 4K HDR and Dolby Vision pass through so that the original picture quality is passed through the Soundbar directly to the TV without any loss of quality, resulting in great colour clarity and brightness. It supports high-resolution audio formats. Music files can be enjoyed to near high-resolution audio quality thanks to DSEE HX (digital sound enhancement engine feature)

Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant

Alexa lets you control the HT-Z9F with just your voice. #JustAsk Alexa to book at cab, movie tickets, order food or listen to music from hundreds of stations by controlling your playback experience with voice. Explore nearly 20,000 skills available on Alexa Skills Store with your Z9F. You can turn up the volume, skip to the next track, or stop the music, all without lifting a finger. You also can voice control Sony’s audio products with Google Home.

Seamless Connectivity with BRAVIA TV with built-in WI-FI & Bluetooth feature

A refreshed and intuitive user interface makes it easier to set up and use with Sony TVs. With up to 2 HDMI input and 1 output connectivity, multiple devices can be connected to the Soundbar. HT-Z9F has USB connectivity in addition to Bluetooth technology. The HT-Z9F can also connect online and stream music using the Chromecast built-in.

Simplistic design to integrate new cinema tech into the home seamlessly

The HT-Z9F is specifically designed to match a selection of the Sony BRAVIA TVs aesthetic for an elegant set-up. The Soundbar’s shape fits perfectly between the base of a Sony BRAVIA TV. Measuring a sleek 100 cm  6.4 cm 9.9 cm (3,1 kg) for the bar speaker and a discreet 19 cm x 38.2 cm x 38.6 cm (8.1 kg) for the subwoofer, the HT-Z9F will fit nicely into any chosen home decor.
