Build Aspect

Sony LinkBuds WF-LS900N are designed to be full day wearable pair of earbuds. They are remarkably light in weight and have a fantastic unobtrusive fit that wont bother you for extended duration. However as a side-effect of light weight build the entire construct is from plastic which takes away from the overall premium effect. Having said that it goes without saying that the earbuds are finely finished with fantastic matte finish which is hard to fault. Similarly the charging case is a very pocket friendly one and is able to charge the earbuds fully around about 2 times or so. The battery life is rated for 6 hours of music playback. Furthermore total playback time can be extended to nearly 20 hours courtesy of the charging case.

Performance Aspect

These earbuds feature a 5mm driver, which helps keep the size of the earbuds small and the weight light. But does it affect the sound quality or depth of bass? Well primarily these earbuds are more forward sounding than would otherwise be needed. That is the highs are well extended and the mid range too much in the face. Maybe its that or conversely it can be said that the bass or lows are lacking. A little bump in the bass bands using the EQ app and things take a turn for the good. The sound gets melodious and fulfilling from intolerable sorts. Lows give the tracks good oomph and much needed depth to make them sound crisp and immersive. On the call quality front the audio is respectable both ways a leaves little room for improvement as far as TWS design of earbuds go. The ANC now, it works incredibly to filter noises or to let ambient sounds in depending on the mode selected. While adaptive sound can be termed hit or miss, we found it a miss for most part and a minor irritant rather. All in all these are a good pair of earphones and best bought when on discount or sale.
