Build Aspect

185 LZH is a 5 star rated 1.5 ton Window AC with a fixed compressor from Voltas. The window AC is well made and is a  very heavy unit of almost 65 kilos, it looks identical and has same dimensions as the 1.4 Ton variant. As a result of this heft the AC is able to provide a sense of a durable, high quality product. Albeit in reality the plastics are of medium quality only. Moreover the looks are indifferent, i.e. the bulge on the grill looks ugly and will be an eyesore for most.

Performance Aspect

Getting to the meat of the AC, its performance jumps out as an exemplary one in first impressions . Its cooling capacity is adequate for a 1.5 ton AC at 17060 BTU / hr. The compressor a 1.5 ton unit is very efficient with a solid 3.35 ISEER rating, it is capable of good cooling levels while being less strenuous on the pocket. Thankfully the air flow is more than the 412 CFM of the 1.4 Ton unit at slightly more respectable 441 CFM. On the downside even this variant is deprived of the literally essential PM 2.5 filter. While on paper the noise levels are very good, in reality this AC is a bit noisy especially when swing is turned on. Ultimately after weighing in all pros and cons it would be fair to term this as a good performing and efficient 1.5 Ton Window AC.
