Build Aspect

Voltas 123 LYI / 123 LZF is a very simple looking window AC from Voltas. The AC is not only simple to look at but also somewhat light in weight and uses light quality steel and plastics in its construction. Its not a very premium looking piece of machinery but then in its defense its pricing is very affordable too. However the remote control is the same remote that Voltas provides with some other ACs and its a good unit with perfect ergonomics and layout.

Performance Aspect

Just like the overall build the cooling performance is lacking when compared with other competitors. Be it the lackluster 10918 BTU / hour cooling or the uneventful 235 CFM air flow that the fan is capable of, there is nothing going for this AC. However its imperative to understand that in the right size of room and a fan to supplement its air circulation this budget friendly AC can be very good. In short this is a very budget oriented AC and functions as such, expecting it to compete with more expensive or powerful ACs would be wrong since the price of this AC is quite cheaper compared to others.
