Voltas ACs are usually good value for money, moreover they have a pretty decent service network all over India. The 245V ADZ is a 2 Ton Split AC from them. The indoor has a simplistic design, which does good job of getting out of focus. While the build quality of IDU is very good such as the plastics or rather the whole shebang seems well put together, including the remote. The ODU is a different matter, it feels flimsy sort of. Even though the construction of outdoor unit is of full metal, the sheet material seems thin and and is not particularly inspiring.
Performance Aspect
Well one thing is for certain, Voltas sure does have a knack to get that rabbit out of the hat every now and then. And this AC is just that. First things first, the air flow is a staggering 824 CFM, no it is not a typo, the air flow is that strong and powerful. This motor is coupled with another fantastic motor, the compressor, which is not only inverter capable but also has a 5 star energy efficiency rating. Furthermore it doses the indoors with 22520 BTU of cooling every hour. subsequently the place this AC is installed is temperature controlled very quickly. There is a fly in the ointment though, horizontal swing is not motorized. On the whole this 2 ton split air conditioner is a powerful one and is certainly one of the best 2 ton split ACs that you can buy in India.
