Build Aspect

Voltas 175v ADJ is a 1.4 Ton 5 star rated split AC. The ODU is a bulky unit and is very heavy and very well made. The indoor unit on the other hand is made of plastic, and light weight. The design is rather uninspiring and looks weird from certain angles. However the quality of construction and overall finishing are very good. The remote is somewhat large howbeit it should easy to use. In totality this Voltas AC is a well made unit with a quirky design language.

Performance Aspect

Coming to the performance aspect this AC chills and brings the temperature down of a mid sized room quickly even in scorching heat. It has an added benefit of consuming less electricity thanks to the inverter technology and its 1.4 ton capacity. The airflow speed is good too at 559 CFM and adequately covers the length of a normal mid-sized room while keeping noise levels to around ~46 db at the maximum. Unfortunately it lacks any PM2.5 filter. However it comes with 4 way motorized swing. In totality its a good AC with a 1.4 ton compressor and inverter technology in a budget package.
