Zebronics Zeb-Juke Bar 9500 WS Pro (Wireless Surrounds) is a 5.1 channel soundbar with 2 wireless surround speakers to accentuate the soundbar experience. The soundbar is fabricated from plastic with a metal grill. Moreover it is equipped with 3 x 2.5″ drivers for the front LCR (left-center-right) output. Likewise the surround speakers are made of plastic and are equipped with 2.5″ drivers too. Its a delight to see see more and more brands bringing soundbars with surround speakers. The subwoofer on the other hand is equipped with a respectable 6.5″ driver. Unlike the soundbar and surrounds the subwoofer is made from MDF with grill protecting the driver and a front facing LFE extension port. Unlike the Zebronics 9400 with wired surround speakers in which the subwoofer unit houses the amplifier for all speakers, the 9500WS pro does not. This duty is performed by the soundbar. Lastly a plethora of input options are present which make connectivity with various audio gear and gadgets easy.
Performance Aspect
The audio performance of this 5.1 channel soundbar system is pleasing to say the least. The wireless surround speakers are easy to install and increase the immersion while experiencing content. Furthermore the bass itself is strong and punchy. The 6.5″ driver is mostly accurate, however it struggles with lower lows as the DSP rolls them off to protect the driver. Treble is strong and well pronounced. The output is airy and clear, although forward leaning treble could be bothersome on some already bright content. Nonetheless the dialogues and vocals are clear and intelligible at all times and crossover between soundbar and subwoofer is very good and hardly noticeable. In a nutshell it is a fantastic soundbar which doubles up as a easy to install and powerful home theater system while not burning a hole in your pocket.
