Build Aspect

Panasonic is a manufacturer which focuses on making good quality products which are not only long lasting and durable but also true to the essence of the product. CW-YC1216YA is a 1 Ton AC which is a hefty and well built window AC. Besides being heavy as it is, the AC looks simple yet classy, with nothing tacky or polarizing in its looks. On the contrary the remote is small and some buttons are too slim to be termed easy to use.

Performance Aspect

Alright, the performance or cooling as in this case is very good. The rotary compressor uses R22 refrigerant and is capable of 11100 BTU / hour cooling capacity. This compressor is married to a blower which in turn blows 450 CFM of air in the room, cooling and bringing the humidity and temperature down quickly, with no fuss. In more good news the AC is also equipped with a PM 2.5 filter which is a boon. Finally the AC manages all that without excessive electricity consumption as is evident by its mediocre 2.95 ISEER. To sum up, this AC is essentially one of the best and cheapest 1 Ton AC available in India.
