Blue Star is an Indian Air Conditioner brand which manufactures world class refrigeration products. The FS318EBTU is another such high quality AC with 3 star energy efficiency rating. The indoor unit has a simple yet regal design with clean lines and shape. Likewise the neatly tucked hidden display gives it a flat and evergreen facade. Additionally the remote control is well built and is backlit too, therefore controlling the AC even in dark is easy. The outdoor unit is well constructed as well and features anti-corrosive Blue Fins which should elongate the life of condenser coils protecting it from foreign elements and damage. In totality the construction aspect of this AC is very premium and robust.

Performance Aspect

This Blue Star AC has a BTU/hr rating of 17401 which is quite handsome and respectable. Moreover unlike the IC318EBTU which has an Inverter compressor and low CFM the indoor unit of this has an adequate 492 CFM at highest speed, as a result the draft of this split AC is decent and travels a healthy distance. Unfortunately the AC can be expected to be a bit noisy with 48db at the highest fan setting, while it may be not a deal breaker do note that there are more silent ACs out there. In conclusion it is a good 1.5 Ton Split AC and is recommended to anyone looking to buy a non-inverter 1.5 Ton Split Air Conditioner in India.
